Legacy of Dragons

Nuclear radiation poisoning leaves a retired Royal Navy officer fighting for his life and sets the scene for this powerful espionage novel.

A fast moving drama of human relationships develops as international intelligence agencies unite in the face of nuclear terrorism.

Sea adventure, spiced with murder, revenge and espionage are set against the fear of a terrorist nuclear capability.

The protagonist, Dr. Peter Senden, begins a quest to discover the cause of poisoning and becomes caught up in what he believes is a search for a sunken wreck and gold hoard. He is entangled in a web of obstacles created by his fathers past relationships, as he slowly unravels secrets about his family. He discovers that he shares part of a deadly WW2 nuclear secret with the daughter of one of his father's past associates. She is a young woman, who exhorts revenge on the man who raped her as a fifteen year old.

Major intelligence agencies thread together the story to prevent a disaster, as a terrorist group seek the major constituents for a dirty nuclear bomb. An equally ambitious covert plot by a section of the CIA counterpoints the action as the World's media move in.

The story weaves between the south coast of England, Washington, Hong Kong, London and post 9/11 New York.

The Magic Christmas Cracker Factory.

A Children's Magic Christmas Adventure by

A young brother and sister make a magic journey to a factory in Southern China where Christmas and party crackers are manufactured. There they are introduced to the characters who are involved in making crackers by their host, a plastic dragon named Peevee Cee.

They meet up with many strange characters such as the joke compiler, Zed Ohno Notanother.

and Mrs Senditoff a Russian doll working in the despatch department. During the children's visit, the factory comes under attack from a gang of flying Griffins who work for a diabolical wizard. The children have to help the plastic toys to defeat the wizard before they can return home to their parents and Christmas.

'That's disastrous,' said one of them, a tall, elegant lady dragon who appeared to be in charge. She wore very large dangle ear rings that glistened in the dim light and her mouth was neatly lined with lipstick that had a luminous bright red glow against her green face. Her long scaly fingers were festooned with rings of all shapes and sizes, with diamonds that dazzled and glinted at them as she gracefully moved her arms in a circular motion. 'How can they possibly manage without the caps,' she cried. She flicked her long tail so that it hung around her neck like a haute couture stole as she carefully adjusted its position. There were shouts and suggestions flowing so fast that none of it made any sense.

The idea behind this novel is a simple magic format which would allow the children to embark on other adventures in future books. The characters could also be commercially exploited.

The Codex Conspiracy

When businessman Malcolm Webster is found dead in a hotel room, the cause is diagnosed as a heart attack. However, it becomes clear that in addition to his business enterprise, he has two secret lives. One as a computer software expert working covertly for a branch of the British Secret Service, the other, an illicit affair with an unknown woman who tries to hide evidence of the liaison

Is the death as innocent as it sounds? To ensure that the Service has not been compromised, the D.G. orders an autopsy to be conducted and the body is found to contain small traces of strychnine. Lying in the same mortuary is another man with no connection to Webster who has died from a massive dose of the same poison.

Dr.Peter Senden ( the protagonist in A Legacy of Dragons) is sent to gently probe the background of the case as Det.Insp.Jack Connor runs the police investigation..

At the time of Webster's death, he has developed a form of holographic optical programming called Holocrypt and his company is about to become listed. Holocrypt has a massive world wide potential market, being the first unhackable Internet secure system. White collar fraud could be suspected when it is discovered that the death could alter investor fortunes.

Webster has also been on the board of Trustees managing a priceless ancient manuscript, an early Codex.. It is stolen and the Russian Federation mafia are suspected. Crazed financiers, Russian gangsters or perhaps a jealous spouse? We'll have to wait and see who murdered Malcolm Webster!
